      Verdict

      UNION ROSE finally took advantage of a slide down the weights to score at Bath recently. He remains on a winning mark despite a 6lb rise and is also at home in soft ground. Stablemate Majestic Hero was well ahead of Sandfrankskipsgo when successful at Epsom back in April but would prefer faster going while Atletico missed the whole of last year and has so far this season looked a shade high in the handicap. Intibaah narrowly beat Pettochside when winning at Salisbury last month though both have been well beaten subsequently.
