In depth

Verdict

SPOOF (NAP) makes most appeal on the prevailing going having won twice on heavy ground since August and has also scored three times here in the past. Korker finished runner-up in a Listed race at Ascot when ahead of Chipstead and can figure while Woolhampton was second in a handicap at the same Ascot fixture and is preferred to Navello on today’s surface. Executive Decision and Punchbowl Flyer drop back down in trip but the latter hasn’t won since 2021 and Crimson Sand has yet to win on Turf.
