Verdict

None of these have encountered heavy going before. OSCARS JOURNEY never looked like catching the winner when runner-up at Southwell earlier this month but sets the standard in this company and has a couple of pounds to spare at the weights with Tregereth. The latter has been placed in faster ground on a couple of occasions and makes more appeal than both Captain Cruz and Direct Trade given the latter pair showed little on their respective debuts. Multitask is related to dual winner Multi Bene and preferred to fellow newcomer Sweet Piccolo.
