On evident form this does not appear to be the best of races, so it would be no great surprise to see Windermere go close on his debut. From a stable that has had two first-tine out winners in recent days, this Lear Fan colt could easily go close. Starzaan, an expensive yearling, has yet to live up to his price tag but showed encouraging signs last time and may go close here. Slightly preferred is Light Scent. From a stable in form, she came up against some stiff opposition in two starts last year, and her second to the highly-regarded Shadow Dancing, with the third home a long way back, suggests she could be good enough to land this.
