Gifted Master’s all-the-way win in a Newmarket handicap is working out well but he steps up in grade for this under a small penalty. THE TIN MAN (NAP) is the class act in this and impossible to oppose having won the Group 1 Jubilee Stakes at Ascot last June. He competed at the highest level later and wasn’t disgraced and won this on his reappearance in 2016. Projection, another course and distance winner, was a good third in the Abernant on his return to action and much preferred to stablemate Makzeem. Lancelot Du Lac is a better bet than his stable companion Tropics while D'bai has won in the grade in the past, though is possibly better over further.
