A decent maiden here and we tip SOUTER POINT to see off Dubai Echo and Libel Law. Roger Charlton has a high opinion of his colt who had showed promise in two races last season and put in a great run here last time out. He has clearly trained on and is more than capable of getting off the mark today. Dubai Echo has been away from the track since October but had shown some promise in his two starts to date and can improve on past form and in such modest company a good run should see him there or thereabouts at the post. Libel Law made his debut five months ago and though he showed plenty of promise has not been seen since but with the benefit of this experience and could be very useful this season. The colt is a half-brother to useful multiple winner Criticism and we expect him to be hot on the heels of the selection here. The rest will need to show vast improvement if they are to make any mark here. This may well prove to be a three horse race where Souter Point should come out on top.
