Verdict

WILD STORM reappeared in April with a very comfortable maiden success over the course and distance and, though the long absence is a concern, he's expected to make further progress and can take this. Petrucci made his debut in April and didn't return to action until last month when landing a Chelmsford maiden so he's another likely to show improvement. With just two recent runs behind him, including a victory at Chester, Poniatowski can do much better and should be thereabouts but Squire is 9lb higher than his last victory at Newmarket. Burano is up against some improvers but is well capable of scoring at this level.
