Percy B Shelley made late headway on debut at Wolverhampton but won’t be high up the pecking order at John Gosden’s yard. Prerogative is proving very frustrating and has now failed to score in 11 starts, though he’s been second five times including when beaten less than a length on his first try over this trip at Chepstow. We’ll take a chance on LOVE CONQUERS as she completely missed the break on her debut at Sandown in April and was eased in the closing stages. Ralph Beckett’s filly is a sister to Japanese Derby winner Deep Brillante so may do better when tackling 1m4f but this could be within her capabilities.
