      Verdict

      Ballinderry Boy developed into a decent stayer last year but this looks plenty short enough on his reappearance off a 7lb higher mark, though Oisin Murphy's claim should aid his cause. CafeSociety has to go on the short-list after an unlucky run when sixth at Newmarket. He may still be on an upward curve and makes more appeal than stablemate Modernism, who does most of his winning on the all-weather, and the frustrating Nicholascopernicus. We'll take a chance on KUDA HURAA, who has been hurdling but is no slouch on the Flat and only a pound higher than when just touched off over 1m4f at Epsom early last season.
