Batgirl now looks high enough in the handicap after her Yarmouth win but is not taken on lightly with MELLIFERA. Walter Swinburn's runners are going well and this three-year-old filly is 4lb higher than a course and distance win on fast ground in June. She should be very competitive and with first time head gear and her claimer up to lighten the load she may prove good enough. Ajool is becoming ever-more interesting now dropping in the weights and could show her best since a Beverley win in the summer, while Diggeratt and Ivory Lace are both likely to make a race of it without necessarily being up to the task of winning given their current marks.
