Verdict

Count Walewski will rarely get a better chance to open his account and gets the nomination in a modest race. John Dunlop's gelding showed promise at two but was well beaten on his return. However, this is not a good race and he is given another chance. Central Command showed some promise on his debut over course and distance but has five lengths to find on Keshena Falls from that run. The form of Market Hill's Goodwood third does not amount to much but, in this type of race, cannot be ruled out. Hawridge Prince ran well here last time (Foggieloan was behind), suggesting that a race of this nature is not beyond him, but Count Walewski, although no world beater himself, will rarely have such a good chance to open his account.
