Ultimata is the least exposed of this field and can land a second victory at the expense of Desert Cristal and Summer Shades. James Fanshawe's filly is having just her fourth ever race and is entitled to show plenty of improvement. In fact she was still very green when chasing home Diamond Lodge here in June, the winner has given the form a boost since, so Ultimata does look a decent proposition. Desert Cristal will be a tough nut to crack, she gained a deserved first victory at Lingfield last time and still appears well treated. Summer Shades has been in consistent form all season and a recent second behind Golden Island at Newmarket makes very good reading and a big run can be expected. Top-weight Surf The Net is also worth a mention, but Ultimata is the most progressive in the line up and gets the vote.
