      Verdict

      A number rate as potential improvers and REGINA PACIS just gets the nod on handicap bow after landing a Newcastle maiden back in March before finishing a respectable third to Aim Of Artemis in a Newmarket novice stakes in early June. She should appreciate the additional furlong and looks on a decent mark for this handicap bow. Sharp Practice is being brought along with customary patience by Sir Michael Stoute and is another from whom further improvement seems assured off a nice opening handicap mark. Pride's Gold wasn't disgraced at Royal Ascot having looked on the upgrade previously and should deliver a good account returned to calmer waters.
