Folio has shown enough ability on all three starts to suggest a race of this nature is within his compass. The son of Perugino ran particularly promisingly when a close second behind subsequent Norfolk Stakes hero Baron's Pit over course and distance and a reproduction may suffice at this level. Melody Master is held by the selection on Nottingham form last month but should be sharper for the experience while Merlin's Dancer is progressing along the right lines and has place claims.
