Unexposed Lingfield winner HANNINGTON (NAP) lost many lengths when rearing as the stalls opened at Bath on Saturday but was staying on at the death. He would surely have gone close had he broken on level terms and this looks a good opportunity to gain swift compensation with the stable's talented 7lb claimer on board. Lady Marl's Brighton run suggests she's high enough in the weights now but she is a course and distance winner, as is Elusive Guest. Monsieur Chevalier has won at the track over a shorter trip but a bigger danger may be Double Czech, who didn't stay 1m2f at Brighton and is back over his best trip here.
