    Verdict

Albert Finney has won on Tapeta and Polytrack but two runs on Turf last year offered little encouragement. Fields Of Athenry is having a first run on the surface but is less exposed and the step up in trip is likely to suit. Sam Cooke looked progressive last year, winning on his final start at York, and has been gelded over the winter. Spencers Son also has scope but we’ll give another chance to GENTLE LOOK as the Godolphin runner may also improve for being gelded and is already proven over the distance. Kempton winner Korcho was far from disgraced at Doncaster in October and looks best of the rest.
