        Verdict

        Clever Relation won over track and trip on his debut but was tailed off at Sandown last time after hanging badly and blinkers are fitted. SHADOW DANCE is preferred despite returning a losing favourite at Chester as he finished runner-up here earlier and the winner has since finished second in Listed company. Syllabus is a likely improver having raced at Newmarket in both starts so far while Miller Spirit will be sharper for a recent fourth at Chepstow.
