The penultimate race on the card looks to be an above average maiden but also a difficult one to assess. However we feel Protarsa, REGAL PARK and Bombadero should fight out the finish with the vote going to Regal Park. Jeremy Noseda's horse is still in the Irish Derby and this is very much a positive sign. His maiden form seems to be solid and with George Baker on board, he should go close on the well bred son of Montjeu. Protarsa is another horse to consider for the Henry Cecil yard. Like the selection his form seems to be working out well but the one worry is that Cecil is not overly hard on his horses too early in the season. A horse that may go well for each-way followers in the John Dunlop trained Bombadero. Dunlop said last year that this was the nicest bunch of two-year-olds he has ever had and Bombadero is still entered up in the Derby. His form is average enough but he always looked like he would make a better three-year-old. With all this considered we will still side with Regal Park.
