Verdict

Grand Denial got off the mark in a maiden at Doncaster last month but may lack the scope of ROYAL CHALLIS. Richard Hannon's gelding quickened from the front to score over 5f here two weeks ago and gives every indication a return to this longer trip won't be a problem. Charter was slowly away at Southwell on his return but only beaten half-a-length and should find a small race this year. He makes more appeal than the exposed Fletcher Christian, Keep The Dream and Lucky Di.
