Breden scrambled home at Newbury last month but wouldn’t want any rain. Alemaratalyoum, on the other hand, needs give underfoot but steps up a grade after returning to winning ways at Chepstow. Sir Plato boasts an unblemished record over track and trip but all victories to date have been achieved with Oisin Murphy in the saddle and he still looks a couple of pounds too high. Newmarket winner Whip Nae Nae may find the ground too testing but DRAGONS VOICE won on good to soft here in July and is only a pound higher. If putting a couple of subsequent poor runs behind him, he has every chance on these terms.
