Raybaan can get back to winning ways in a run-of-the-mill claimer, with the 2000 Lingfield Derby Trial winner, Saddler's Quest, and French two-year-old Listed winner, Casual Fame, worth a glance and Academy Brief, Humdinger and Petite Futee proving best of the rest. Raybaan comes out well clear of those with a current rating and a repeat of his Yarmouth win last year would see him go close. Formerly with Gerard Butler, Saddler's Quest won his first three races during 1999/2000, including the Lingfield Derby Trial. He has had his problems since then and has recently been sent hurdling without success. Humdinger is only lightly raced, his best effort being a second in a Goodwood seller. Academy Brief's placed efforts in maidens give him a chance of getting amongst the money, while Scented Air is entitled to her supporters based on her recent Warwick third. Casual Fame, now with Mick Quinn, has shown nothing in two British starts following those heady French days. The others have to improve on what we know.
