BANG ON THE BELL has landed his last two but the narrow nature of those successes means he's only a couple of pounds higher in the ratings. Hold-up tactics have worked well on both occasions and Oisin Murphy is taken to repeat the dose on the Jenkins gelding. Secret Handsheikh came good last time but this looks a little harder and he's up 4lb too, and Rich Rhythm makes greater appeal as the likeliest challenger to the selection. He's only had five starts to date, scored here in August and seems feasibly treated off a mark of 70. He'll go close if ready for this first start since October. Course and distance winner Gherkin should also be in the mix in receipt of weight all round after posting a sound effort on his first run of the season last month.
