Lofty is a rare runner here for North Yorkshire handler David Barron. He has been placed in all four starts so far and was only beaten half-a-length in a handicap at Leicester in June when last seen but won’t be much of a price. Having led at Kempton in August, DOUBLY BEAUTIFUL weakened quickly and was eased. But that run was his first since his debut at Newbury a year ago in a maiden which has produced several winners. None of the others have really shown enough to pinpoint them as future winners.
