Ice Age was prominent for a long way in a better race at Newmarket last time but that was over 5f. Ashpan Sam and Clear Spring are veterans nowadays but both have been showing signs of a revival lately. Bahamian Dollar has won two of his last three so has to go on the short-list and Handytalk is also respected, though connections seem undecided over his best trip. SEEKING MAGIC has only been raised 2lb since returning to winning ways at Nottingham. Though another who has been around for while, he’s still not badly treated on his best form and a follow-up could be on the cards. Major Pusey looks best of the rest.
