Most of these would probably struggle to win a seller on current form so Tegan's claims are obvious. Richard Hannon's filly followed up her second to Monicalew at Bath by beating hot favourite Mariners Lodge in a three-horse apprentice race at the same track five days ago. The merit of that form is questionable but she escapes a penalty here and must go on the short-list. Rather Cool does have a penalty, for winning a better contest at Newbury last week, and should also go close but we like the look of MY MATE LES over this longer trip. By High Chaparral, he's bred to stay and will have needed his comeback run at Brighton.
