      Verdict

Abbotts Anne gets the vote in this maiden with A Nod And A Wink and Sahara Crystal rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second on her debut behind Heywood despite running green, she is sure to have learnt from the experience and given nominal improvement from a fair draw will be hard to beat.Nod And A Wink is bred to make a two year old and with his yard in form he should be closely watched in the market. Sahara Crystal was nibbled at in the market on her debut and ran better than her finishing position would suggest and is another that is sure to improve but the suspicion is she will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Blue Bamboo is another that showed promise on his debut and is sure to improve but he may be seen to better effect once handicapped while Sahara Crystal ran well on her debut and is another that is sure to improve but in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to Abbotts Anne who is taken to put her experience to good use.
