Verdict

Newcomer Upper Grosvenor is stoutly bred so may need further than this but there are possibilities about Al Wajba, fourth over 7f at Lingfield in October, and last month's Southwell third Ty Gwr appears to be improving with experience. FLAXEN FLARE was in need of the outing at Newmarket last month and the form of his Yarmouth second in October has worked out well. He may well be the one to beat here, though Class Win will be worth noting when tackling middle-distances later in the summer.
