Hoku undoubtedly sets the standard here but has been a tad disappointing since only beaten four lengths in a Listed race at Newmarket in June. Richard Hughes has opted for newcomer Lookslikeangel, a half-sister to a couple of winners, ahead of the once-raced Joybringer but she doesn't have a great draw. Neither does ABATIS but Charlie Hills' Aptitude filly has the potential to be better than these being a full sister to Listed winner Critical Moment and a half-sister to two other winners including the useful Rerouted. Perfect Alchemy and Veiled Intrigue are others worth noting for future reference.
