Anchor Date, Dr Zalo and Daliya all showed promise on their debuts and will will take a chance on the last named. Sir Michael Stoute's filly was quite well supported in a modest contest at Warwick, but hung during the trace and dropped out tamely. If she can keep her mind on the job today, we should see a much improved performance from this well bred daughter of Giants Causeway . Anchor Date went into many notebooks when finishing well from the rear to chase home Loaderfun. He will have benefited from that outing and will be a major threat to all. Dr Zalo has similar claims having finished a close up third behind Wazir at Goodwood. Pamir is trained by Luca Cumani so is also worthy of respect following a promising first effort, but the Stoute juveniles tend to come on a bundle from their first outings, so Daliya could improve past these rivals.
