      Verdict

      Dropped in grade, FOOL TO CRY is impossible to oppose in this. He probably needed his reappearance at Beverley as he ran much better when fourth at Brighton last time and credible opposition is thin on the ground. Pastoral Star steps up in trip having shown limited ability over a mile but is still preferred to Divine Joy, who is having her first run on Turf. Clive Clifton showed little on his only previous try over this trip and Poetic Guest never figured over 7f on debut but Yours Forever showed a bit more last time.
