Reflektor has won on Polytrack and Tapeta this year and wasn’t disgraced over 5f at Chester last month. Northern raider HOLMESWOOD should be cherry-ripe now after a couple of runs. All of his wins last year came over 5f but he won over this trip as a juvenile and is slipping towards a fair mark. Louie de Palma will have needed his run at Ascot and is back over his best trip while last month’s course and distance winner Silent Echo should be in the firing-line again, despite a 5lb rise. Miracle of Medinah, Volatile and Mullionheir were behind Silent Echo at Ascot but Syrian Pearl signed off last year with a victory at Nottingham, though that was on ground with some give. Outback Traveller is thrown in on past form but has become very disappointing.
