Verdict

SEPTEMBER STARS (NAP) bolted up on her handicap debut over track and trip and a 6lb penalty is unlikely to prevent a follow up if she produces a similar effort as she may now be ready to fulfill early promise. Dean Ivory's string is going well and Harlequin Striker hasn't done much wrong lately so has place claims, though he does have to reverse last month's form at the track with Philadelphia who is also worth a second look. Bouclier has already won three times this year but never beyond 7f and the lightly-weighted maiden Major Assault has more scope. Rahmah will have benefited from his comeback but Bag of Diamonds may need this.
