In the maiden, Echo Of Light gets a solid call ahead of Lady Diktat, Sir Edward Elgar and Primondo. Echo Of Light's form to date looks very good in the context of this race and, with his stable showing signs of returning to form, he looks set to play a leading part in this contest. Lady Diktat has shown reasonable form in maidens and a handicap, so will help to assess the value of the race's form, while Sir Edward Elgar's form is also solid and he looks well up to winning a race of this nature. Primondo made eyecatching late headway at Newmarket last time and can improve on that, while it is interesting to see Nigel Twiston Davies field a runner here in Devils River. Aviemore represents Sir Michael Stoute but he has yet to show much form and is now blinkered, while Vanish did not show too much on her debut but could improve, and the beautifully bred Qaadmah showed improvement on her second run last time, but will need to keep it coming. Sir Mark Prescott's Pivotal Role is another potential improver but, for the selection, we will side with Echo Of Light.
