LAWN RANGER easily beat subsequent winner Grapevine here four weeks ago. The fourth has also won since so the form looks decent and he should make a bold bid to defy a 7lb rise. The three-year-old Takumi is an obvious danger as he’s finished second in both starts since making a winning reappearance at Goodwood. Andrea Atzeni is back in the saddle and first-time cheekpieces are fitted today. Stealth Fighter still looks too high in the weights but Rotherwick likes it here and is more than capable in this grade with Dylan Hogan taking off 5lb.
