Look Alive has yet to conform the promise of his success in an Irish point-to-point last year and it looks best to focus upon the three penalised contenders. Faire Part Sivola is the least exposed of the trio and scored comfortably on hurdling debut at Leicester over this trip on heavy ground last month. This appears a tougher assignment for the Williams gelding although he may well prove up to the task. However, Calva D'Auge and GLORY AND FORTUNE (NAP) both have form in the book at a higher level and are preferred. The vote goes to the Lacey inmate who should appreciate softer ground compared to his last run and he can reverse placings with the Nicholls charge after the pair were only separated by a neck at Haydock in a good-quality Listed contest in November.
