Verdict

Old Tricks has been placed around here on heavy ground and must have some sort of chance in this under Brendan Powell junior. His father saddles the oft-placed Dark And Dangerous while Sidney Melbourne has been knocking on the door in novice events and shouldn't be far away again. WEEKEND MILLIONAIR has the beating of Old Tricks on their run together at Fontwell and gets the vote here as he's probably not badly treated at present. Oscar Prairie also warrants a second look on his run over track and trip in January and is preferred to Taunton runner-up Decimus of the others.
