In depth

Verdict

Nanga Parbat should come on a bundle for his reappearance effort at Chepstow earlier this month and is taken to open his account for the season at the main expense of Nesnaas and Berengario. Course and distance winner Nesnaas disappointed at Stratford last week and may be best watched, while Berengario is better than he showed on his return here earlier in the month and should come on for that outing. Looks The Business took advantage of his race fitness when scoring here last time and may find this tougher, while Pirandello has given little sign of encouragement of late. Fame has claims on form but may well bounce and a safer bet looks to be Nanga Parbat, who should improve for his reappearance effort and gets the vote.
