In depth

Verdict

Definite Ridge reverts to chasing and won over fences off a similar mark at Cartmel last summer. Best Boy Barney scored at Kempton in October and his latest third here to Better Days has him closely matched with The Mythologist on collateral form. A mistake when in the lead at Chepstow seemed to knock the stuffing out of BREDON HILL LAD last time. But he won at Fontwell before that and is worth another try over this longer trip on the likely fast ground.
