Verdict

Steel Summit's winning run came to an end at Doncaster last time and he's gone up 10lb since so has it all to do today. Rothman has had a stop-start campaign but could figure if back to his best and Seaviper has struck up a good understanding with Daniel Hiskett. He's been on board Richard Phillips' six-year-old for all three of his victories this season and another bold showing is anticipated. De Blacksmith was just touched off at Fontwell last month but Sirop De Menthe tries a new trip and has been climbing the weights without winning. Top Cat Henry usually finds at least one too good but SCOOP THE POT was always going well when scoring over 2m at Ludlow last month. He looks a progressive novice and the extra half-mile shouldn't be a problem so he can double his tally.
