In depth

Formwatch

Manhattan Castle (IRE) Not in particularly good form this term but has got his favoured better ground and should put up a gallant run under top-weight;

Aonfocaleile (IRE) Reported as having breathing problems after disappointing at Taunton last time; drop back in trip not sure to suit but is still respected on best of previous form.

Yorkshire Edition (IRE) From a respected stable but another who has had breathing problems; would probably prefer further.

Potentate (USA) Out of form this season; prefers Chepstow these days but is well treated on old form.

Royal Event Consistent sort who if reproducing form of course and distance run in November may have place possibilities.

Over The Water (IRE) Normally goes well fresh and has won here in the past; could be a little too high in the weights but should go well today..

Grass Island (IRE) Has not reproduced the form of last season; looks in the handicappers grip but has run well here before.

Cinnibar Refused to race last time and is now tried in blinkers; not one to trust but can go very well if in the mood.

Dick McCarthy (IRE) On a 7lb lower mark than when he won at Newbury last March; enjoys this ground and is one to consider today.

The Bounder Ex-hunter chaser front runner who is probably a little outclassed today.

Glitter Isle (IRE) Out of form and running over an inadequate trip today; others preferred.

Millersford Not the best of jumpers and needs things to go his way; best avoided today.

Morstock In and out performer who although is capable of going well on his day can not be seen as a serious betting proposition.

Caddy's First Too far out of the handicap today.
