In depth

Verdict

I'msingingtheblues gets the tentative vote in this bumper to close the card with Poker Queen and Cadoudalas others to consider. The selection made eyecatching progress on his debut when chasing home Helens Vision and he clearly needed the experience that day. There should be more to come this afternoon and he could prove tough to beat. Poker Queen is another who made a pleasing debut when chasing home Debut but she was no match for the winner that day and more will be required if she is to get her head in front this afternoon. Cadoudalas is an interesting newcomer from a top yard and is worth noting in the market, while a market move for Alan King's Sovereign King would also be of interest with the stable in good form. However, I'msingingtheblues did enough on his debut to make him the one to beat today.
