MARILYN MONROE has disappointed at times this season in that she's frequently travelled well through her races and then appeared not to see things through. She has been tried at varying trips but this looks a decent opportunity as she's won over 3m and is now down to a mark of 81 - her lowest mark under Rules and 6lb less than her opening chase mark. Wilde Spirit was tailed off on return from a 189-day break but is better than that and his best form makes him a player here. My Lady Grey has yet to show any real spark over fences but she does stay and it will be interesting to see if chasing generates any improvement from Dan Skelton's Colours Of My Life.
