Avalanche won a modest event very easily at Leicester but this is tougher. Iverain's form is respectable but he was tried in blinkers last time and got stuck in Chepstow's mud. He'll be more at home at the track where he scored his novice victory. Bicycle Thief fell on his chasing debut but then ran a very good third at Uttoxeter and certainly has chances here. Indeed, a decent winner over two-and-a-half miles at Sandown over hurdles, is making his chasing debut. Latimer's Place is also a Sandown winner and making his chasing bow. Jaybejay, a course winner over hurdles, made a pleasing debut over fences behind Regal Exit and will appreciate the extra distance. Uncle Wallace has been put in his place in two chases so far and is a maiden hurdler, although some of his efforts in that sphere are pretty good. Overall, though, Jaybejay is taken to step up on his debut run at a track he likes.
