Those with experience under Rules look highly vulnerable and two recruits to top stables look the likely ones. BLACK VALENTINE impressed when landing an Irish point-to-point back in April and has now moved to the champion trainer's yard. He looks a useful prospect and is just preferred to Clondaw Shane, a son of Black Sam Bellamy, who was only deprived in a photo finish in his sole Irish point, also in April. The market could well prove h informative but the Nicholls' candidate just gets the nod. The remainder look limited on evidence to date but Alpine Secret is a possible improver.
