Supreme Serenade is the pick ahead of Darjeeling, with Easibrook Jane and Motcombe two more to keep an eye on. Supreme Serenade had the class to win a Grade 3 hurdle at Sandown last February, but this full sister to Supreme Prince was always going to go chasing, and she did indeed run well when second on her chase debut at Aintree in October. That was her first outing since March, and with conditions in her favour she will take some beating. Darjeeling was not as highly rated as the selection over hurdles but has gone well here in the past and is sure to have been well schooled, while Easibrook Jane will improve for her Fontwell return but will need to. Motcombe has more experience than most over fences already, but will need the outing and this trip is plenty short enough for her anyway. The rest make little appeal at present, and if Supreme Serenade can translate her hurdles form to fences, she should take all the beating.
