In depth

Verdict

Quite By Chance wasn't beaten far at Kempton on Boxing Day and won over this track and trip earlier. He may be a little high in the weights but can't be ignored. Toowoomba cruised home in a weak race at Leicester last week and has scope for further improvement while Gunna De A Devil, King Of Glory and Judge Davis could all get involved granted a clear round. ALDER MAIRI never fired at Exeter on her second start over fences and was eased in the closing stages. But her earlier third behind Highland Retreat and Mickie at Huntingdon reads well and her yard is in terrific form - she's worth another chance.
