In depth

Verdict

THE DARLING BOY hacked up at Worcester and off the same mark he can make hay whilst the sun shines. The fitting of a tongue-tie seemed to work wonders last week and this unexposed horse, built to improve as a chaser, is pretty hard to oppose. His main rival could be Intac who would be a big threat if getting loose out in front, and he holds Some Craic and Hereweareagain on their Fontwell run last time. Morestead was ahead of that trio last month but his mark has gone up as a result and he is now 17lbs higher than when winning in September. Take A Mile bounced back to form last time, and along with the returning Chilbury Hill is not one to rule out too quickly.
