Raven Court represents last year’s winning yard but something went amiss over track and trip last time having gone close at Aintree earlier. A bumper winner in France, Eritage was still beaten a distance when third at Exeter on his debut for Paul Nicholls and stablemate Mister Timmytucks didn’t run much better at the same track on New Year’s Day.
