Verdict

Neither of the newcomers make much appeal in this while Freedom Flyer has gone backwards since finishing second in a claimer on his debut at Stratford in June. RAINY CHAMPION became disappointing on the level and has pulled much too hard in his runs over hurdles. But he finished well ahead of Guards Chapel when third at Fontwell and he'll be suited by the fast ground here - he may just be able to last out on this sharp track. Both Plug In Baby and Saqil were well beaten on debut at Fontwell but could do better here.
