Verdict
Conceding 7lb, Unanswered Prayers beat Blue Stello by a nose at Warwick in November but lost the race in the stewards’ room. He then chased home subsequent Challow Hurdle winner Stage Star at Newbury but Paul Nicholls trains the latter and that result should have given the yard a good line on FLEMENSTIDE. Bryony Frost’s mount beat the odds-on Jazz King on his hurdling debut at Ascot and has plenty of scope. Bold Conduct was very disappointing on his second outing over hurdles and the others have plenty of improving to do.
